Della Pearl Staats Walker 1930 — 2024 Della Pearl Walker 94, of Charleston, WV, formerly of Dunbar, went Home to be with the Lord on August 27, 2024. Della Pearl was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John C. Walker and her son, Wayne Walker. She was very proud of her name Della Pearl, as she was named after her paternal and maternal grandmothers. In 2022, at the age of 92, Della Pearl instantly lost her sight due to a medical issue. She had great hope that her sight would return but did not and she didn't become despondent or complain. Instead, she handled it with poise and grace worthy of emulation. Ann Marie Barker Moore 1954 — 2024 Ann Marie (Barker) Moore 69, of Winfield, passed suddenly into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 24, 2024, ending her long fight with Muscular Dystrophy. Ann was born in Newtown, Pennsylvania to the late Ada Marie (White) Barker and John Barker. She later moved to South Carolina, where she graduated from Anderson College with a bachelor's degree in childhood education. Ann married her husband, David, in 1983. They lived in Dayton, Ohio for 7 years, in Lilburn, Ga for 21 years and for the last 11 years in Winfield. Ann was a very warm and loving person who always had a smile for everyone. Jamie was born in Staats Hospital, May 27, 1949 to the late Betty Lou Jinks LeFevre and Albert Roy Lefevre. Preceding him in death are his mother and father, who died tragically in 1951, when Jamie was only 18 months old, leaving Betty Lou as the sole caretaker. She has been reunited in Heaven with her husband, Donald Glazier. Phyllis was born in Huntington, WV, to the late Stanley and Mary Frances Bryant on August 10, 1936. She was a 1954 graduate of Huntington East High School. She was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Charleston. She was also a member of the South Charleston Women's Club.
