It's been nearly six months of trying to contact Border Models (first via Lucky Model as distributor, then directly) to get replacement clear parts for my 1/32 Avro Lancaster and no reply at all.....
I've tried their official email, direct messages and open public messages on their Facebook but no response - very disappointing and unprofessional.
Double disappointment for what was supposed to be the best aircraft kit ever....
Anyone else got smashed clear parts that they have had replaced but havent thrown out? I may be able to piece together a complete set from several smashed ones....

It took Heller 6 months to send me my replacement part. And then it was the wrong one.

Chris, there was a discussion on Britmodeller some time ago about production of new clear parts (by another company) if there is enough interest. But I have not followed the discussion as I do not own the kit. Maybe you can check there.

Sorted - contacted my local Australian distributor who has kindly sent me a set of the second run of clear parts - should arrive shortly. This has left a sour taste in my mouth and I'll be avoiding Border Models from now on....

Hi Chris, I am sorry to see what you published. I am also a modeler. If some bad things happen again, I would like to help you here in China to solve the problems from Border or other Chinese model brands.

Since WnW never released it, this one can be hardly called a rebox? More a initial release under new management...

If you don't pay the bill, you don't have to be surprised if the landlord gives the draught beer to another guest.

@Gluefinger ans DCCS ...your comments are on spot 👍
Badest thing that could happen to WNW No Frank it is not as simple as that.
And one can see what Border recently released here is exactly painting that picture of making money of it and try to look like a big and very unique manufaturer..but in the end it is all about the money..
There is no heart or love to the hobby with their Lancaster release.
